The box is painted black and the exposed metal has oxidised over time. The inside of the box is painted red and the dimnesions make it excellent for storage or a decorative item on top of a cupboard or bookshelf. The handles are a very nice curved shaped. Measurements are 34cm L x 24cm W x 21cm H. I have 4 of these deed boxes and postage can be combined for multiple purchases together.
