Quite small in size at 27mm diameter, with a hand painted enamel compass card in the classic Georgian style. Although unsigned, this is a high quality compass, from one of the finest London makers. It has a Gilt brass case, English bar needle and jewelled pivot. There is a fully functional transit lock operated by a tiny lever behind the bow. The compass is in full working
