They each wear simple yukata, one blue with leaves and one green with birds and mice. Oshie zaiku gives a unique 3D appearance. There are three basic types of shikishi paper: calligraphy (poem, haiku) only, calligraphy with pictures, and pictures only. Since the Heian period, people have been writing waka
