Made of pine and mixed woods it is quite substantial and spacious and could serve a variety of purposes in any home. It is ideal for use as coffee table, having the benefit of discreet storage, or could also be used as a large toy box in a playroom. The chest is square and the top has two flanking lift up lids which are hinged and are held closed with aged metal latches.
